AttackerDefender
No 1 IPPONME. Attacker: Left Stance. Step Forward and Punch in combination Right Jodan Tsuki, Left Gyakuzuki. Side-step to outside of Defenders right foot and sweep it with left Ashi Barai. Finish with Right Gyakuzuki to exposed ribsDefender: Left Stance. When attacked step back into right stance and block Jodan punch with right arm using Jodan Shuto Uchi Uke. (Uchi uke with hand open).
NO 2 NIHONME. Attacker: Right Stance. Move forward adopting Right Nagashi Stance. Punch Jodan Gyaku Nagashizuki. Sweep Defender left leg with your right and punch to the exposed ribs.Defender: Left Stance. When attacked maintain stance and position. Block punch with Left Jodan Shuto Uchi Uke.
No 3 SANBONME. Attacker: Left Stance. Step Forward and Punch in combination Right Jodan Tsuki, Left chudan Gyakuzuki. When Defender counter punches. Drop body moving forward with right leg (outside defenders leg) Deflect incoming punch upwards with right arm and continue arm forward across defenders throat. Slide Left arm under defenders right leg and throw to floor across your right Knee. Strike Right Uraken to Head.Defender: Right Stance. When attacked step back into Left stance and block Jodan punch with Left arm using Jodan Shuto Uchi Uke. (Uchi Uke with band open). Return to Left Guard Position. Punch attacker Jodan Tsuki.
No 4 YOHONME. Attacker: Right Stance. Step forward. Strike with Right hand Jodan Gyaku Uraken - Same hand Chudan Gyakuzuki. Grasp both defenders shoulders and strike Hizageri. Finish with downwards Empi to back of defenders neck.Defender: Right Stance. When attacked, move back adopting right Shikodatchi stance. Blocking first attack by raising Right arm to side of head, hand to side of right ear.
No 5 GOHONME. Attacker: Left Stance. Step Forward and Punch Gyakuzuki with Left hand. Then continue with Surikomi MaegeriDefender: Left Stance. When attacked step back into right stance and block Chudan Uchi Uke. On second attack step back again, block kick with anticlockwise block as in Ippon Kumite Keri No 1. Strike Right Haito to ribs -Right Haito to head - Left hand grips shoulder whilst Right hand strikes Shuto to rear of right leg and brings attacker to floor - Strike Shuto to neck.
No 6 ROPPONME. Attacker: Left Stance. Surikomi Maegeri - Nagashi Gyakuzuki - Ashi Barai - Mawashigeri.Defender: Left Stance. When attacked, Step back block punch with Right Jodan Shuto Uchi Uke.
Defender: Left Stance. When attacked, Step back block punch with Right Jodan Shuto Uchi Uke.Defender: Left Stance. Block punches with Left Jodan Shuto Uchi Uke. Counter attack with Right Maegeri
No 8 HAPPONME. Attacker: Right Stance. Surikomi Ashi Barai - Ashi Barai - Ushirogeri - Gyakuzuki.Defender: Right Stance. Step back once - Step back twice.
